Local Running Clubs

We would much prefer it if you ran with us, of course. However, if we are a little too far away for you to join us on a regular basis how about trying one of the following local clubs:

	Pewsey Running Club are one of the hardest working clubs around, putting on a wide variety of popular races each year all with a friendly atmosphere.
	Swindon Striders are a friendly & sociable running club who join us for a springtime run in West Woods each year.
	Devizes Running Club are a new local club with an easy to spot bright red racing vest.

MAD JA	The Marlborough & District Junior Athletics Club.
MAD-Tri	The Marlborough & District Triathlon Club.
	The Runner's World site, run by the people who publish the popular running magazine of the same name. You need to be a magazine subscriber to gain access to the whole site. However, you can still access huge chunks of it, including race listings, forums and competitions, by registering online for free membership.
grassrootsevents	The website for all the events run by Stephen & Julie Golding of Pewsey Vale Running Club.

Below are a few commercial sites you may find useful:

Champion Sports & Leisure	A sports shop in Herne Bay run by Jodie of Scroggins fame. It sales competitive running shoes and has a website that offers online shopping. Decent discounts are available to club members on top of the competitive prices - please ask Jay for details.

Marlborough Chartered Physiotherapists	Marlborough Chartered Physiotherapists, Debbie Simpson MCSP SRP and Liza Grashion MSc MCSP SRP are offering the following discount to members of the Marlborough Running Club; Initial Assessment £40 (usually £45) and follow up appointments £30 (usually £35). Their website (link to the left) is currently under construction but has sufficient information to explain who they are and what specialities they offer.
