RESULTS AND ALL THAT (MARLBOROUGH) JAZZ
A big thank you to all who took part today! Great to see so many smiling faces (despite the agony after 33 miles) at the Finish. If you enjoyed the race, or if you have constructive criticism, please leave your comments on the Runners World website.
Click here for the full results - any problems, email us - and click here for a list of prize-winners.
There were several small items of lost property left behind yesterday afternoon. If any of these belong to you, email us to arrange return.
Happy running!

LATEST RACE INFORMATION
All runners should have received an email with further details for Sunday's race. If you have not already done so, please take a few minutes to look at the following documents:
- List of entries - please check your name, club (where applicable) and age category. For any corrections, contact us a.s.a.p. If you are no longer able to take part in the race, you are free to pass on your place to someone else provided that you send me their name, date of birth and email address by Friday, 10th May. We cannot offer refunds or defer places to next year so please don't ask.
- The full pre-race instructions - lots of useful information here, including a change to parking arrangements this year. Answers to the most frequently asked questions can be found in this document.
- Updated route descriptions - the course is the same as in 2011 (no need to detour around Gopher Woods as last year) but minor details have been amended: e.g. gates and stiles.
Race numbers will be handed out on the day at Registration (7:30am-8:30am) in Marlborough Leisure Centre. There will be a final pre-race briefing at 8:40am in the Leisure Centre. Please do not enter Marlborough College grounds before the pre-race briefing.
Any last-minute updates will be posted on this website so please check on Friday evening.
If you have any queries then just ask one of the marshals on the day; however, answers to most of the common questions are available in the pre-race instructions so PLEASE read these carefully.
====================
The 33-mile Marlborough Downs Challenge is a beautiful yet demanding event, mostly off-road along tracks and footpaths, and takes in some of the finest Wiltshire countryside, including:
- The Wansdyke Path, Tan Hill Way, White Horse Trail, and Mid Wilts Way
- Two of the highest points in Wiltshire at Knapp Hill and Tan Hill
- The Kennet & Avon Canal into Devizes
- Cherhill Monument and White Horse, and Avebury's pre-historic stone circle.
Feedback from previous events has been excellent and will give you a flavour of what to expect – click here to see the feedback on the Runner's World website.
20-mile Trail Race and Challenge Walk: Due to circumstances beyond our control, we have had to drop the 20-mile Trail Race and 20-mile Challenge Walk from this year's Marlborough Downs Challenge. We recognise that this will be a disappointment to many who have taken part in previous years and we sincerely hope that we can get back to the full event in 2014.
